NAZLO RECORDS is a label originally based in Russia of nomadic artist Wassily Bosch (an alias I assume derived from the German painters) focussed on esoteric and strange sounds from minuscule pockets of European underground from Tbilisi to Paris, with pressings on various format in extremely limited numbers, often incorporating found image and minimal detail to preserve mystery and whim.
This is his own project Dolphin Hospital. Two sides, album length, live performances in France, unsure if in front of viewers or simply in a space. Earthy dark ambient/music concrete/psychedelia. Tape loops and electronics. Stifled movements out of abstraction, forming a chasmic alien soundscape. Very fragile sounds made on degrading equipment and constantly hinting, rather than scoring with saturation. Repetition and subtle rhythm hidden under pulse, coalescing as the tape rolls. This idea of sketches and incompletion really speaks to me, anonymous and mystical, penetrating uncharted pockets of the left side of the brain.
This is dubbed on recycled tape with J card forged from 18th Century maps found in the streets. Hand writing to document his location at the time of production. If you are wondering re: recycled quality, I have tested a few minutes of each and the audio sounds fine. Perhaps a idea that's meant to add to the unstable sound, but there is bright course synthesiser unfurled throughout, weird and not new age niceness.
