Finnish electro legends Morphology, an offering of 4 tracks (mid 2025) on a new UK label THUMBPRINT RECORDS. Really like the overall minimal aesthetic on these labels - this record was really the impetus to contact Rubadub distro for an order.... Icy spacious electro, 4 unnamed tracks. What really impresses me are how all four convey a different mood and tempo. The 2 tracks on A warm it up with delicate minimal funky grooves, and the 2 on the flip let go trippin into the cosmos. Loads of subtlety and feeding off other styles like minimal and acid. I prefer much more of this music from Europe than from the US - when it upholds the lore of its Eastern European pioneers. Too slick, too dope, to be bumped into the night.
