Joint release from TALL GRASS RECORDS and new Melbourne label CARMEL & PETER. 10 tracks from this experimental Osaka based duo of Sayaka Tenjin and Yonju Miaoka. Lo-fi and intimate improvisations that range from absurd buzzing fee-form abstraction with voice and various instruments and trinkets, to peaceful minimal psych jams as if recalling traditional Japanese music and stories. From a Western view, sounds like something in the scope of various LAFMS experiments. I'm sure it's influenced from many areas, withholding mystique and naturally idiosyncratic. Yonju's visual art is an important part of the vision, compulsive and connected to nature. Sounds recorded to tape, nice and warm. Great live band too. Pro-dubbed with double sided J- card.
