PYRAMID TRANSMISSIONS are a UK label that seemingly go under the radar, but offer curveballs in the spacey electro / techno realms. Yet, they keep releasing records, and the ones I own I enjoy and often spin. This 2025 release is a collab from the owners of this label commemorating their 25th year of existence. Deep throbby pitched down basslines and catchy atmospheric synth lighting it up, nodding to Eastern Euro pioneers. I saw the adjective slippery as a way to describe the ripping opener, I can't really think of anything more fitting. Again, something simplistic, yet ingenuitive here. All 5 tracks are great and atmospheric.
