Boston hardcore recording from 1986, new release by SHORTFUSE RECORDS. Yes, this is Deathwish that released the cult classic Tailgate EP from 1983. 4 songs, two mid paced and two ragers. A mix here of Gang Green, Agent Orange and perhaps all period Middle Class. This is pretty melodic and West Coast sounding, covers a lot of ground.
Absolutely horrendous sleeve cover, but the back is an improvement. Still, can't help to respect Clint abiding by the band's wishes for artwork. I generally hate anything to do with protein intake in punk. Developed ripping tunes here, solid American hardcore at its latter stages. The metallic riffs in B1 Voices Of Pain are meaty, I'll give it that.
