New release on NON SERIES. I really don't think there's much this Spanish label does wrong, representing top of the line monotonous hypnotic techno, if you want to learn something about this area, just trawl through their catalogue. US born, Japan based, Erik Leubs has had a string of releases over various labels which i'm yet to sift through, but these are some compelling minimal repetitive workouts with deeply buried accenting and tension. The 3 tracks on side A stomp, while still restrained, but the 2 flip tracks let truly release the hypnotic lasso round the temporal lobe. Penetrating synth and using space, warm but surreal and menacing. Sometimes you want a 12" to feel like an album, this has that feel, it'll take you places.
