Excellent riot grrrl/indie/punk from Tokyo. Packed with energy and attitude, but also with a sense of anonymity. Stylish and fearless first album, self-released, that crosses the line of timeless indie underground, with conviction and real fuzz. 7 tracks on this that balance harder grungier stomps with gorgeous pop tunes. Extremely well mixed, gritty, colourful and matching the bands lecherous getup. This is way more than something simply influenced by Sonic Youth or Bikini Kill, one of the most convincing bands I have watched live recently - intrepid and unique playing and vocals, unleashing the beast. I can't wait to to see what happens next with this band. Simple pop sensibility is rare inner instinct. Fuck clean post-punk, this is not that. I believe it, that's what's most important.
